The BRICS Young Environmental Scientists Forum is a key academic brand event that supports the BRICS Ministers of Environment Meeting. Since 2022, it has been successfully held for four consecutive years and has become a key platform for experience exchange, scientific and technological cooperation, and mutual learning among young professionals in the field of ecology and environment of the BRICS countries, receiving high recognition from the professional community.

In order to actively respond to global environmental challenges and promote the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, with the support and guidance of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China, the 2026 BRICS Young Environmental Scientists Forum will be held on July 17–18, 2026 in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province (China). The theme of the forum is "Climate Adaptation and Ecological Resilience." The event will bring together experts, scientists, and young researchers from 10 BRICS member states and 9 BRICS partner countries for in-depth discussions. Applications are invited for session moderators, academic presentations, and forum participation. We sincerely welcome all interested colleagues from China and abroad!
