The author of more than 100 invention patents, over 10 books, and more than 300 published articles. Prof. Khalilov served as the Chairman of the World Forum – International Congress "Natural Cataclysms and Global Problems of the Modern Civilization" (GEOCATACLYSM – 2011), held from September 19-21, 2011, in Istanbul, Turkey. The event brought together scientists from 40 countries, who presented over 200 scientific papers. From 2009 to 2015, he served as Chairman of the International Committee on Global Geological Environment Change (GEOCHANGE), which unites scientists from over 90 countries. In 2010, under his leadership, the Committee presented a report on global changes in the geological environment to the UN Secretary-General, which was subsequently distributed to all heads of state.

Key scientific achievements: developed a technology for recording tectonic waves (quasi-gravitational waves) and predicting remote strong earthquakes based on the analysis of three-dimensional gravitational anomalies; established a pattern in the spatiotemporal distribution of seismic and volcanic activity of the Earth; established the possibility of changing the biophysical, biochemical and structural properties of water under the influence of complexly structured magnetic fields. 

State awards: "National High-Level Talent （B）of China" - "High-End Foreign Expert" (2021) - the highest state status of the People's Republic of China for foreign scientists; Winner of the "West Lake Friendship Award" (2024) - the highest government award of Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China for foreign scientists; Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Azerbaijan in Science and Technology (1984) — the highest award for young scientists in Azerbaijan.

Prof. Takaaki Kajita

Nobel Laureate in Physics 2015

Distinguished University Professor, Nobel Laureate in Physics, Institute for Cosmic Ray Research of the University of Tokyo.

Takaaki Kajita was born in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama, Japan. He studied at Saitama University and at the University of Tokyo where he received his doctorate in 1986. His doctoral advisor was the future Nobel Laureate Masatoshi Koshiba.

Takaaki Kajita is the Distinguished University Professor at The University of Tokyo, and also was the Director of the Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR) of The University of Tokyo between 2008 and 2022. He was the President of the Science Council of Japan between 2020 and 2023.Kajita received his Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo, School of Science in 1986. He has been researching at Kamiokande and Super-Kamiokande detectors at the Kamioka Observatory in central Japan.

In 1998, at the Neutrino International Conference held in Takayama, Japan, he showed the analysis results which provided strong evidence for atmospheric neutrino oscillations. In 2015 he shared the Nobel Prize in Physics for his role in discovering atmospheric neutrino oscillations. Currently, he is the PI of the KAGRA gravitational wave project.

B.V.Gusev is an outstanding scientist and organizer of science, education and educational activities. He is the author of 40 books in English, Georgian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and other languages, and more than 800 scientific articles. He is a famous inventor who has received more than 130 patents for inventions.

Previous Positions Held:

In 1990, B.V. Gusev was elected President of the USSR Academy of Engineering, and after the formation of the CIS countries, he headed the Russian and International Engineering Academies.

Professor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit is the first woman to serve as Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her distinguished academic career began with a diploma in Social Work from California State University, followed by a Master's degree in Political Science from Presidency College, Madras. She further earned an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Professor Pandit holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the Indian Secular Society, the Indian Association for American Studies, the All India Political Science Association, the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, and the American Studies Research Centre (Hyderabad).

As a member of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), she has been deeply committed to mentoring young talent, having supervised over 30 postgraduate students.
